Happy Passover

Wishing all our friends, congregants, students and families a joyous, sweet and meaningful Passover. May we all experience Passover as if we are really moving out of slavery.

After sundown on Thursday, we do the last symbolic cleaning of our homes, often leaving bread, crackers or cookies in conspicuous spots around the house. In our house we also burn our character flaws which we offer up for purification. We put the crumbs and the traits into a paper bag and burn them together. We often share these out loud with each other.

Let all who are hungry come and eat. Many people open their homes and invite people to share the journey. Please also think of bringing food to the survival center during this period of time.
